::Hi!! My name is Janet and I’m new here.. I’ve had my circuit for over a year and have made several attempts to start working on projects but because I have no experience I keep messing up.. I became very discouraged and now my circuit is just sitting gathering dust.. I purchased a whole set up from a friend with enough material to start up a small business but have been so scared that it’s all just in my office in boxes.. I really want to start learning because I love crafts and making homemade gift for friend and family.. I’m a new grandma with a 2yo and another on the way and would love to be able make them all sort of things.. so when I saw this learning guide I said this is my chance to open up those boxes dust of the cob webs and get busy learning and making new things.. LETS GO!!!!!

::Hi Janet, and welcome to Crafty Club, and thank you so much for sharing your story with us! We’re absolutely thrilled to have you here. 🌟
Firstly, let me say, it’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed when you’re starting out, especially with something like Cricut! That’s why we’re here – to help and support each other.
What model of Cricut do you have, and are you using a Mac or PC?
The best way to get started (and it’s covered in the guide), is to get Design Space set up correctly. we have a mini-course showing you how to do that here: http://staging.craftyclub.com/projects/how-to-set-up-design-space/
Let me know if you have any questions! 😀
